Who is a part of the Giving Tree Tutoring team?
Our tutors bring joy and play back into learning. Some joined education because they always knew it was their calling, others stumbled upon it and fell in love. Each tutor is unique to their talents: here are some of the great things about us:

MEGAN
Founder & CEO

Megan graduated from Cornerstone University in 2013 with a BA in Elementary Education. She is certified at the Associate level for Orton Gillingham. She taught for 7 years in grades K, 1, and 2, in both private & public school settings. Her 15 years of tutoring experience in grades Pre-K through 7th allow her to approach learning in a unique way: one built on the foundation of love, play, and respect. She loves what she does, and has a deep passion to help kiddos succeed. Want to learn more?

LAURA

Laura brings 10 years of experience as a Teacher Assistant & Substitute Teacher in grades K-6. She has tutored elementary students for 5 years in all subjects through an ESL program. (Laura was even the founder's Teacher Assistant for first grade when Megan taught at Grace Christian School.)
Laura loves watching the love of learning blossom with the kiddos she works with. It is a gift to be a part of forward progress in learning, and seeing each kiddo develop self confidence in the unique way in which they learn.
Laura's expertise: all subjects 1-6, especially reading & math.
Laura has been with Giving Tree Tutoring since 2024
